After receiving so much rain over the July 4th, 2013 Holiday, almost all local events were cancelled or postponed. However, with the luck of slightly better weather, the traditional Dunwoody 4th of July Parade went off as scheduled at 9 AM. This was a fun event to cover as there were over 155 entries of all types. These photos represent my favorite subjects looking at the preparations, the waiting, the parade itself and the many shots of locals watching the parade. This was my first time at this parade...I hope to cover more events in the future. There were many tributes to our veterans from many wars and protective activities. Many thanks and appreciation for all who gave of their time and service to keep us free.
